bird boxes, feeders & slate

I create a range of hand-painted bird boxes that come in various shapes and sizes. The designs vary depending on the stock available at the time, providing a wide variety to choose from. Some of the boxes are handmade by amateur woodworkers, while others are manufactured in bulk in a factory. Additionally, some are handcrafted by a professional boat builder from Norfolk, the neighbouring county.

I use acrylic paints to decorate each box, and no two are the same, as they feature some pretty interesting styles. To ensure the boxes can withstand all kinds of weather, I apply a coat of acrylic gloss and a final two layers of Crystal Clear™ weather protection. The result is a sturdy bird box that can withstand the coldest winters and hottest summers. These boxes are perfect for brightening up any garden and providing a safe space for your feathered friends to call home.
